isnt it beautiful? Its a green tree python. Primarily arboreal, these snakes have a particular way of resting in the branches of trees; they loop a coil or two over the branches in a saddle position and place their head in the middle.
This is a really nice picture of a beautiful snake. I am quite fond of the framing you used in this shot (or cropping if you cropped), with the head in focus off to the left. The focus is actually crisp and clear which makes the snakes eye stand out very nicely, drawing the attention straight to the eye and head. My personal preference would have been to see more of the snake in focus, showing off it's beautiful markings just a bit more, but this way works as well. The lighting also looks a bit unnatural, I assume it was from a heat lamp or the like and you had no control over it?
wow amazing colour uv captuered there. love how only the face is in focus. But....where the hell is its toung HAHAHA thats a first time iv seen a snake not poking its toung out
Did you go to a zoo or something Ruberman? 'Cause if you was out in the wild shooting pictures of snakes I'd be kinda scared for you. @A@ But this is really pretty. Green is an amazing color.
i like the composition in this one; the diagonals from its body give a sense of movement. very crisp image. the crop of the body works well. i wouldn't change a thing.
